Do I have to send you the original photo?
No. Never post us anything. You take a picture of the print with your phone and reply to your confirmation email with it attached. If you already have a scan, even better.
How do I send it? Do I need an account or an app?
No. Reply to the email we send you when you order and attach the picture. That is the whole system. If you would rather not wait, email it to us directly with your order number in the subject line.
My photo is really bad. Is it worth it?
Send us a picture of it before you buy and we will tell you honestly what we think we can do with it. Badly damaged photos are the ones that get the biggest reaction when they come back.
Will it still look like her?
Yes, and this is the thing we care most about. We do not smooth skin, beautify, change ages or restyle faces. Where the original is so damaged that detail is genuinely missing, we tell you exactly what we had to interpret rather than quietly handing you back someone else.
Do you use AI?
Yes, AI assisted retouching tools, operated and checked by a person. We would rather say that plainly than pretend. It is the reason this costs $34 and takes a day.
Can I print it?
Yes. You get a high resolution file that prints cleanly at 8 x 10. If you want a bigger size, tell us and we will tell you whether your original can carry it.
How long does it take?
One photo, 24 hours. Five photos, 48 hours. Fifteen photos, 5 days. The clock starts when we receive your photo, not when you order. Rush delivery gets a single photo back in 12 hours.
What if I do not like it?
Tell us and we redo it. Still not right, we refund you in full within 14 days and you keep the files anyway.
Who sees my photos?
Only us, only to do the work. We never sell them, never publish them, and never use them in advertising unless you give us written permission. Files are deleted 30 days after delivery, or sooner if you ask.
Can you colourise a black and white photo?
Yes, and it is included. We keep colour restrained and period accurate. If you would rather keep it black and white and just repair the damage, say so and we will.
Can you make the photo move?
We offer a short Memory Motion clip as an add on: a few seconds of gentle, natural movement. We never add speech and never put words in anyone's mouth. Some families love it and some find it hard to watch, and we refund it if it is not right for you.
